As we and our car age, we both get a bit brittle! I was finding it difficult to drive for a five hour trip to family, even with 20 min stop. This gel pad clips nicely around the driver’s seat and stays put, offering exceptionable comfort during a long drive; so much so that I’ve bought a second one for the passenger seat. I didn’t struggle to get out afterwards. We never travel a long distance in winter and we like our seat heaters so I’ve easily removed the pads for now, back into their included bags, storing in winter into early spring. Then will use them again next spring and summer when we again travel.

This seat is one of the worst I ever tried: does not prevent coccyx pain, gives you sweaty bottom and under thighs, does not give any support nor comfort. The seat wiggles you around with the slighest movement and becomes very warm after only minutes seating on it. The back moves sideways when you corner a bit fast and makes your back sweaty as well. The claim that Its back support helps keep your spine in a neutral position and properly aligns your neck, shoulders and lumbar vertebrae, liberating you from upper and lower back pain is complete B.S. The supplemental claim that it Helps prevent and treat coccyx issues, lumbar strain, sciatica, degenerative disc disorders, and others is more than bs. I could go on negatively for ever about this seat, but I wont.
It is just a bad design like so many of those gel things all over the place.
