The Mission Darkness Dry Shield Faraday Phone Sleeve completely blocks all wireless signals and keeps small electronic devices shielded to prevent hacking, tracking, spying, and chain of custody corruption. When a cell phone is properly enclosed in the bag, no apps or malicious code can be remotely triggered or wiped, no communication can penetrate, and no one can access the microphone, camera, GPS location, or data. Primary uses are for law enforcement and military forensic evidence collection, defense against data theft, personal security, EMP protection, and to enhance digital privacy.

The bag is built with extremely durable and waterproof 600D TPU and 420D TPU outer materials to ensure that device(s) and the faraday liner stay dry and protected. The interior includes two layers of high-shielding TitanRF Faraday Fabric on all sides with dual paired seam construction. The bag will block all wireless signals including WiFi (2.4 & 5GHz), Bluetooth, cell signals including 5G networks, GPS, RFID, NFC, and radio signals with 60dB-80dB average attenuation from low MHz to 5GHz spectrum. The bag opens and closes easily using the NeoLok closure, consisting of a double roll plus neodymium magnetic seal. Devices enclosed inside will remain dry and offline in any water-surrounded location.

    Only gave 4 stars because it's not truly waterproof. It will keep out a downpour , I'm sure, but when fully sealed, it still let's air in and out through the folds. Ergo, would not stand up against hydrostatic pressure and thus definitely NOT waterproof. Think of it more like a spill and rain guard.

    I thought my phone was a “ghost” when it was in this pocket...

    I passed by a cell phone tower today while my phone was in the bag, my phone buzzed to let me know I had messages in my voicemail.... I get this when the phone recovers the service.

    I guess the next best thing is a metal box!!!

    Huh... When at home, the wifi gets through the pouch... not good.

    Updates:
    Cellular - gets through when you are close to the tower. I put my phone in this pouch and into a cookie metal box. I can’t hear nor feel the phone buzz.

    WIFI - Gets through - while doing FaceTime, I put my phone in the bag and I could continue the conversation... I then put the bag in a metal cookie box, and the call finally dropped.

    Bluetooth - while in my car and the my phone in my mission darkness pouch, I’m able to play music through bluetooth...

    Pretty expensive for weak performances...

    It would be better to have a thicker metal box as an RF shield (cookie box in itself is insufficient) as it is done to isolate RF in the industry.

    Got a newer phone, performances are worst... the latest phones are more sensitive, and it picks up the service in the pouch...

    This review is for the Mission Darkness Dry Shield Faraday Phone Sleeve. It seems well made, everything about it indicates that it should last a long time provided you don't abuse it.

    My informal test results. Turned my phone on, made sure the ringer was on, called it outside the sleeve and it rang. Placed in inside the sleeve, called it, did not ring. As I was pulling it out of the sleeve, the signal strength indicator showed there was no signal to the phone. Once outside the sleeve, the signal indicator showed it was receiving a signal. That's the result I was looking for.

    Bottom line is ...... at minimum it blocks the cell tower signal. I cannot measure all the other stuff it claims to block or protect your sensitive electronic equipment from. Downside is that it's made in China.
