Charging dedicated port

The output is 2.4A

When synchronizing these USB 3.0 port data, it can be charged to 1.5A and is compliant with the BC1.2 standard.

At the same time, with the USB Smart Charge Controller (up to 2.4A), the USB SmartCharging port dynamically detects and adapts to the optimal charging mechanism for devices that require power (eg applications, tablets, etc.).

The Atolla 4 port USB hub has worked flawless since my purchase. For prospective buyers of a USB hub, I would recommend placing this unit on your short list. It has worked flawlessly. I am happy that I chose this particular product.

Build quality : Appears to be very good. USB cables fit precisely into the ports- no loose cables here. I use all 4 ports without any signal loss issue. The unit is light, and has a nice glossy finish.

Functionality : This unit does not require a wall mounted power supply to work. It derives it's power from the computer that it is connected to. Each port has an on/off button beside it, which allows you to turn off the power to any item that is connected to the port. Each port is illuminated by a blue light. This is a very useful feature that allows the user to connect a USB cable to the port in the dark or under low light conditions.

Value : While not the cheapest USB 3.0 hub on the market, the Atolla 4 port still offers excellent value for the money.

I will update this review should any issues arise.

First off I have bought a product from Atolla a long time ago wasn't disappointed so I got this 3.0 USB Hub and again not disappointed they package it well with a well-written manual with guidance on how to use it properly.

I have had hubs like this in the past, nothing quite like this brand though, it's built well doesn't feel cheap in hand and the USB cord is thicker than usual.

The 3.0 hub has neat blue lights when it lights up blue means that USB hub is turned on simply press the button to turn off. It looks rather nice at night time the blue LED lights are bright and pressing the button to turn on is very satisfying!

As many newer laptops, they don't come with many USB ports like back in the day, or maybe your USB port is broken and wants this to have 4 extra USB ports. No complaints from me. As it works great with a 2-year warranty!

This hub is so much nicer than the one I took back to Best Buy. This one is great. All the ports can be in an off position on computer start up. This way I can have all my devices plugged in, but not spinning up on start up. Now when I need any of my 4 external drives I just reach over and select which one I want and it pops up on my screen. This is so much better than having all the drives spinning up at the same time with a hub that doesn't offer this on off feature. With the old hub, I had to reach around and unplug it and then plug it in? Well it was a real pain. Plus once the old one was plugged in, all the drives came on. This way, I can be selective. Great device. I liked it so much I bought 2! Thank you.

Was finding that I was getting annoyed with short USB cords when using peripherals and this solved my problem. It could be a more elegant solution with a longer cable so i could route it behind the desk but it does what I need so that's fine for me. The thick gauge cable is great for assurance that you are not overloading the hub so that's cool too. I also like that I can individually turn each port on and off with the touch of a button. This is great for turning bluetooth on and off without going into my settings. All in all a win.
