How to Use
1. Push the back metal bar down to reveal the bait slot;
2. Place the bait carefully onto the bait cup;
3. Take the metal bar down to lock it at the rear of the trap;
4. Put the mousetrap anywhere the mouse usually haunt, and make the open side facing the wall as the mice are in the habit of walking along the wall corner.

Where to Place the Mouse trap?
-Kitchen: In the ceiling, on both sides of the door, around the sewer, and the corner of the cupboard;
-Dining/Living rooms: Near the wall corners, under the dining table and behind the door;
-Office: Around the printer, microwave ovens, water dispensers, telephones, computers, as well as the around corner of wall;

This is the second mouse that trap caught with in 20 mins. Still had enough peanut butter for it. Easy to remove and reset so no touching it or snapping fingers. Quick death too so i don't feel too bad. My first mouse trapper played with the mouse or let it go so these just get it done fast. Sorry kitty but you are fired. Don't let your cat see they might get jealous and knock your drink off the table.

    Far better than the old wooden mouse traps or the new clamp style ones. You may be tempted to buy the clamp style thinking that they are easier to set, but the difference is small. On the other hand, I have tried all of these types and can tell you without doubt that you will have a far greater rate of success with these. The clamps are almost useless in comparison.

    It feels weird writing a review about a mousetrap, but having tried too many, this is the type that works the best. It insures quick kill. You just have to put a little bit of bait in the cup, something sticky like peanut butter, before pulling back and securing the kill bar. I can personally guarantee you will catch mice with a quick kill.

    Found a mouse infestation this year. Tiny mice managed to nibble holes into an old wooden door and come in that way. Old wooden snap traps were getting nibbled on and they were not sensitive enough to trap the mice.

    Caught a few mice with these when all other traps seemed to fail. You do need to wear gloves when handling mousetraps (they smell you on the trap), and bait the platform as well (I put a smear of peanut butter into the cup and sprinkled a few pieces of oatmeal with chicken soup powder on it). The other tip is to use a tool to tap the trigger down to make it hair trigger - I used a butter knife to do this and you can feel the hook trying to slip off the latch. (Hold the bar gently while tapping, you'd feel the difference.)

    Seems to be sturdy enough and I've washed it several times with soapy water and a hose and let them air dry to reuse them. Loads of power in this mousetrap - smaller mice get their bodies mangled and the sprung trap migrates at least a couple of inches when it goes.
