Unless you are just using these to hang ukuleles, you NEED to use a longer screw than the ones provided, and MAKE SURE it is going into the centre of a wall stud using a studfinder.

Most electric guitars weigh between 7 and 8 pounds. Do not trust the TINY screws and drywall inserts that are provided. The weight of a guitar would easily pull this out of drywall when considering the leverage applied to the hanger. I used 3-inch long screws.

That said - you get what you pay for. These are great. They will hold any size stringed instrument.
