I ordered this and the Chanel Lock brand, this wrench feels solid and much more sturdy than the Chanel lock brand but unfortunately its not a fair comparison as this is the 12 inch model and the Chanel look is only 9 inch (Chanel lock was too expensive in the 12 inch model) so its not a completely fair comparison for the Chanel lock.
I'm returning this because I do not like the construction at the adjustable point, its held together with a nut and there is some play already at that point and its not like you could tighten the nut without damaging the pin/ screw holding it together as its got a round head and if you used something to hold it while tightening the nut you would damage the head of the pin - if you could even get a sufficient grip.
Its too bad if it was held together like the Chanel lock (which I am keeping) then I would keep this product and I really like the thickness of the handle too. I bought it to open over tightened / seized p-traps with the hopes of not damaging the abs plastic too much

Worked perfectly to remove the oil filter from my Ford Fiesta 1.25, it was very quick, simple and efficient. Less fiddly than the strap or chain versions, as long as you have sufficient access. They don't mangle the filter in the process.
The pliers have an adjustable jaw size, so should work for most passenger cars. The grips have a rough texture so you can keep a good hold, even, I suspect, if covered with oil. If you were using them all day, every day perhaps you would want a more comfortable grip, but otherwise these are cushioned enough.
