I was very skeptical about this pool but it's really great. I was worried at first as the box arrived looking like it fell off the truck and rolled down a hill. Everything inside was well packed and in working order. One person can assemble but it wouldn't be as easy (especially for the first time). The pool went up very easy with two of us, directions were easy to follow but I needed my husband to attach the last piece as I didn't have the strength. It took a couple hours but would definitely be half the time next year. The pump didn't have great directions but it was doable. Having done it once, it will be very easy for next time. I wish the ladder was a bit sturdier but it works and it's easy to pull in and out of the pull (we pull it out for the night as we have young kids and it's just an extra precaution).
We leveled the ground and put a thin layer of sand underneath (prior to reading the instructions not to use sand!). The pool has shifted about 2 inches because of this but is fine.
All in all, a great buy!
