Important information
Ingredients
100% Pure Monofloral Manuka Honey
Directions
Serve: 1 tablespoon (21 g). Store in a cool, dry place. Since it is raw honey, it can crystallize over time, which is a natural process that does not affect its quality. To restore the smooth consistency of honey, place the jar in hot (not boiling) water until it returns to its original state.

Product Description
UMF (Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association) – is an independent organization. The association holds all members accountable to the highest standards and the grading levels they set. The association conducts random testing to ensure these are maintained. New Zealand Honey Co. is a licensed UMFHA member with license #2060
UMF Grading – UMF is how we grade our honey, the MG level is listed to provide a comparison. UMF 10+ will have an MGO level of at least MGO 263+.
Why Buy New Zealand Honey – it is illegal to import honey into New Zealand, so everything we harvest, pack and sell is 100% genuine New Zealand Manuka honey.
Source – Our monofloral Manuka honey is produced by bees foraging nectar from the native Manuka plant, a scrubby tree that is indigenous to and is abundant across New Zealand. The small white flowers of the Manuka tree bloom during spring and summer in New Zealand and this is the time of year when the bees collect the nectar and produce the honey. Our hives are located around the Wanaka Lake regions of the South Island
Taste – Manuka honey is a complex honey with a herbaceous flavour that has undertones of caramel, with a clean fresh finish and a moderately bitter taste. This honey has a very smooth, pleasant texture; thick, almost chewy and fudge-like in consistency. The honey can range from being a dark cream in colour to a dark brown, and anything in between.
Independently Accredited – all our honey is independently accredited and meets, at a minimum, the requirements set by both the New Zealand Government - Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) and the UMF Association.
New Zealand Honey Co.
Manuka Honey - a versatile and powerful superfood
A flexible super food with extensive uses. The powerful activity in each jar of our Manuka Honey makes it perfect in drinks & smoothies, food & baking, wellness & beauty applications and more. We are an accredited UMF member, meaning we achieve strict quality and purity standards set by the New Zealand government and the UMFHA (Unique Mānuka Factor Honey Association).
Sourced from the wild landscapes of New Zealand
Since 2006 our active and powerful Manuka honey has been principally harvested on the remote and wild slopes of New Zealand’s unique landscapes. Climatic conditions are perfectly aligned to produce potent nectar that bees gather to create our flavourful and rich Manuka honey.
We have a three-generation family history of beekeepers who treat the environment and bees with the utmost respect by using careful practices.
Supporting the planet through regenerative action
The Manuka bush is a regenerative species appearing in nature to help our native landscapes flourish. By replanting Manuka on farmlands across New Zealand we can contribute to the reestablishment of a better balanced ecosystem.
Manuka establishes itself quickly and can support the growth of other species around it.
