I have purchased this Vitamin -D3 and taking one a day as recommended by my Doctor after I got the routine blood results which showed I have low deficiency from normal reference. I guess that’s given not having the sun around in winter and spending too much time indoors. I hope this helps to bring the levels of Vitamins up but I wouldn’t know until my next blood test. Only good can come from this, they are just vitamins that we all can benefit from and can lower heart disease by 10%. Anyway, this chewable pills have a good taste easy crunch and fast dissolve in the mouth with a pleasant taste of citrus fruit. Im not a biologist but I have been reading about what 1000 IU means, is the International Unit of biological measure and effectiveness of a fat-soluble or water-soluble vitamin. At the same time is not related to dosage weight as mg or mcg. 1000 IU is the average amount or vitamin concentration per pill for adults. Consult a doctor for what is recommended for you. I’ll give it 5 stars for trusted brand, good value, sealed container and great taste. Thanks
