    On bad aspect is that the safety switch feels like flimsy plastic Does not stay in locked position when
    needed. So only way to operate is to hold the safety switch manually.
    So not able to have both hands free. This restricts maneuverability and creates one hand fatigue .

    I expected something more rugged and powerful from a unit with a built-in saw, but it is only 3 amp compared to my previous and present B&D trimmer which is 4 amp. The difference was noticeable this morning when tidying a bank of cotoneaster. The saw is just a gimmick and less user friendly than having a set of loppers at hand. These are OK for light applications, but there are better trimmers for the money, including other B&D models. I would have returned this if I had tried it with the 90 day period.

    Wow, it is hard to find a corded hedge trimmer and I live in a capital city! I got these used like new and while the box was a hot mess, it looked like the trimmer had never been used. One screw that holds the handle on was broken off but not a big deal. I love that I don’t have e to keep switching out batteries as I have a lot of hedges to trim. The little saw at the end is worthless though.
