    The wire feels a bit flimsy even if it is wrapped in metal. It tends to buckle and bind and the connection at the pins is flimsy.
    I'm having a hard time calibrating these, although that just be my lack of arduino skills. Somehow it's not reading what I expected.

    1/2 NPT is a big thread. You will need special tool to tap that, so hopefully this is a drop in replacement part if you are ordering. In my case I will need to drill and tap those holes, so it is going to be a bit of work(and those tools cost me additionally).

    Used the probe for a handfull of times over a period of a few months.
    Probe started to send values in the 700*C, but real temperature was around 90*C.
    Thought it was my PID, so i changed to another PID with same results.
    Reached out to customer support for troubleshooting help, but although they acknowledge my request, they have not followed-up.
    After 3 attempts, I conclude they are not interested in offering support.
    My current work around is to calibrate with boiling water and substract hundreds of degrees.
    Will be looking for another probe.

    While the threads per inch is the same as NPT it is very loose and is swallowed by NPT fittings (not good). NPT is a North American thing, the rest of the world has standardized to BSP. Just be aware when buying imported fillings that they are very likely to be BSP thread. My application is for a brewing kettle so I think with lots and lots of teflon tape it shouldn't leak. Here's hoping anyway.
