Description:

The lip and spur drill bit is a variation of the twist drill bit which is optimized for drilling in wood. Conventional twist drill bits tend to wander when presented to a flat workpiece. In wood, the lip and spur drill bit is a solution: The center of the drill bit is given not the straight chisel of the twist drill bit, but a spur with a sharp point and sharp corners to cut the wood. The sharp point of the spur simply pushes into the soft wood to keep the drill bit in line.

Features:

This spur point drill bit is made of high speed steel for good hardness and durability for woodworking.

The drill bit has a 1/4inch hexagonal shape shank than could fit into many electric drill chucks.

Sharp point design could avoid slip and simply push into the soft wood to keep the drill bit in line.

This set comes with an adjustable round drill stop which can be used to set drilling depth.

There is a small L-shape hex key wrench so you can use conveniently to adjust the drill stops.
