I did not take out in planes yet, so not sure how well it would support the bashing cases normally gets in planes, but otherwise it is decent. I was worried about the large zipper and how well it would work, but so far it is totally fine and does not jam or is not too hard to use.

I've hauled this bag around for about 2 years now. As a first bag/case purchase, this case is phenomenal. My issue stands with the feet and the handle of the case. Over time (specifically during my second year of ownership), the roller wheel feet had completely cracked off, then shortly after the handle completely broke off too. In an attempt to fix these two pieces myself, I undid the inner lining and discovered the shell of the case had many cracks along the walls of it, making it impossible to fix. Oddly enough, there was already tape placed on the inner wall, indicating that this case might've already been tampered with and sold as new. The case is as good as finished right now, making it nearly impossible to transport my lighting gear. Ultimately I'd recommend saving your money and going for a case like nanuk or pelican or just about any hard watertight case. I now have the Nanuk 963 and able to fit everything i need.

This case has been amazing. I've now taken it on 5 different business trips over the past 2 months, 10 commercial flights around the country, and it has held up strong. I've had it packed up to 50lbs down to 35lbs and not one issue. Straps and handle are strong, all equipment has been completely protected, no case failures, no rips or tears, nor zipper issues. I'm not sure how it has a few bad reviews, I guess every product line has it's clunkers, but mine has been great. Well worth the price, a solid performer.

***Original Review***
Bought this case to transport my heavy video tripod, light stands, a 32" slider(in own case) and a few other items. Traveled from Denver to Orlando to Miami and back with no issues. With all items in, the case weight 49.8 lbs, and It survived 2 flights from Denver to Orlando and back, several long drives in car, being dragged around all over on site, and held together just fine, no issues. All strapping remained strong, handles had no problems. The inner case is lined with thick, hard plastic for protection, a little padding, and inner liner for placing slim items. I was able to fit everything in that I needed, snuggly, and it survived all travels without a scratch. This case is secure and solid. Weights about 10lbs empty I believe. ONE Caveat...there is no center divider, nor any dividers for that matter with this case. Wish it had those, but I have plenty from other cases I could use if needed. Well worth the buy. I do suggest buying a TSA travel lock to use on the zipper handles to secure your case during travels.
