I bought this about 4 months ago after looking through nearly all of the similarly priced and sized coffee grinder on amazon. There are quite a few out there but decided on this one for its overall features; ones that I'm looking for anyway.
I wanted something can do both coarse (for French press) and fine (Espresso) or just anything in between. The perfect grind does take few trial and error because everyone's preference is different. However, the most important thing for me is consistent result which it delivers. Some ppl like the one-touch approach where they can control the amount of grinding time; however, I'd much prefer the preset (if it works, and it does in this case) so I can just leave everything to the grinder which should be much more consistent than any human and it indeed is, at least for me. It also grinds nuts and seeds pretty well which I occasionally do.
I also wanted something that's easy to clean (well,l who doesn't?) and the fact it has removable grinding chamber was one of the deciding factor for me. Surprising, nearly all others don't offer this simple and useful feature which makes me wonder...
The included little brush at the back is nice although I seldom use it. The scale inside the grinding chamber is useful for me too and I no longer use the spoon for measurement. The hidden compartment for cord is quite nice as well; I only use as much cord as needed without having to worry about unnecessary cord lying around the counter that clutters up the space.
The only remaining unknown at this point is its durability which some have reported that it didn't last long. I guess time will tell and I'll provide an update should it change.
