Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect power supply.

2. Remove old relay and overload.

3. Push terminal connected to white wire on RCO onto start terminal of compessor.

4. Push terminal connected to red wire on RCO onto run terminal of compressor.

5. Push terminal connected to black wore on RCO onto common terminal of compressor.

6. Connect the line wire which was removed from old relay to of the line wrres of the RCO,using wire nut.

7. Connect other line wire which was removed from the old Overload to other line wire of the RCO,using wire nut.

Installed quickly and easily but instantly tripped breaker when fridge plugged back in. Read that possibly the two black power leads need to be switched around, no difference. I pulled the cap off the 3 in 1 and found the second power lead completely detached internally (looks like failed tack weld) that shorted out something. Fridge is now completely non-functional.

    The fridge was unable to kick start. It buzzy for a few seconds and turned off, making a clicking sound. The multimeter reading shows that the starter relay was fine, but the compressor resistance reading was a bit unstable. Installed this kit, and the fridge just started running smoothly again.

    I purchased this as a last ditch effort. I tried all the other fixes to no avail.
    My compressor was hot and trying to start. Once installed, it started up immediately.
    I am thrilled. It took years get my husband to buy me a new fridge and I was so looking forward to having the old one(2001 model) in the garage.
    The guys moved it correctly and it just wouldn't restart.
    I checked the average lifespan of that model. It was 16-18yrs. Mine is 21🤔.

    Yes! It worked. My fridge stopped cooling so I tested every electrical item on my fridge that I could think of. The compressor tested with no failure of the coils, T-stats were good, had a new overload protection, capacitor was good, etc.. The compressor would start for about 5 seconds and then I would hear a click and it would shut off. I assumed the compressor had a mechanical failure inside and it was locked up. This was the "last ditch" item to try and it worked. Fridge is back to normal operation now.

    Work good most likely work better if refrigerator was driven by consistent power source home current 💯 off grid ran by solor power and power inverter last one lasted over a a year before failing compressor cycles on and if under low voyage situation when powet inverter go into auto shutdown mode so capacitor it taking undue abuse that would not happen if was hooked to city power grid . So have no complaints so I'll keep buying at this price and reliability
