    Every year I try to improve the drainage around our basement window well. Every year it seems like a storm comes around and dumps more rain on us - 2 inches in an hour. Then 4 in 2 hours. Then 9 in 3 hours. I don’t have it terrible like others, but a few of these have been a life saver in containing the flooded area and letting me work on it with a shop vac. I’ll set up a pump system next but I’ll always have these on standby.

    Used these in my basement during some water intrusion issues. They did exactly what they are designed to do. They absorbed water as it started to rise and after the were fully absorbed they created a dam that water followed to a drainage area and allows me to minimize water damage. After I didn’t need them anymore I took them outside so they could dry out and hopefully I’ll be able to use them again if I ever need them.

    I gritted teeth when i bought these, 120 feet for $80. I built a new garage recently where the concrete contractor didn't put nearly enough pitch in the floor to send water to the drain. I set up a crude wash bay inside and found water to always creep under the tool box and work bench. I laid these water dams around the perimeter of the one bay and they did an outstanding job containing the water. The are super flat to start and will grow exponentially as they suck up water, and when they appear full they will at least keep water from creeping. I've saved all the full ones to attempt to dry out come warmer weather and intend to buy another pack soon to make up for the ones that are full.
