This product works great! The overhang on my mobile home addition was closed off on the underside with chipboard. Yup you read that correctly. The wasps chewed through that in an instant and set up home in-between my ceiling and roof. The far corner is also rotten, because chipboard is not made for outdoor use, and we had bumblebees move in there. This made getting rid of the wasps urgent as they will destroy a bumblebee nest and their larvae. I was also getting wasps in my porch, plus a couple bumblebees. Wasps meet their maker. Bumblebees released to the outdoors before my 4 cats got to them!
So, we waited for a cooler evening and went out close to dark and spayed into the hole the wasps chewed and around it, soaking it. Bumblebees were not touched. Why, they are not predators like those damn wasps, and they are needed for our ecosystem, as they are great pollinators.
Long story short. Been 2 days and we've only seen a couple wasps go in the hole, but not come out. So, we are assuming the lasting affect of the spray is doing what it says it does.
As for the bumblebees. I have a friend coming over in a couple weeks to replace the chip board. Before he does, I will spray again to be safe. As well, I will hire a bee farmer or someone with a bee smoker to move the bumblee bee nest to an old building no one goes into at the back of my lot that they can exit and enter no problem.
I won't kill bumble or honey bees, as well, to my neighbors dismay, dandelions. However, all wasps, hornets, spiders (that come into my home only), and ants that make my walls home, they are fair game.
Thankfully we have products like this one and other Raid products that take care off all of these pesky insects! The best part you can do it from a safe distance, when it comes to the wasps and hornets!!!
