This is an update, I have been using the Makita vacuum for nearly 2 years, my wife and I could'nt do without it, gave one to my 44 years old son and it is the same for him, most practical light weight vacuum and is also very usefull to catch insects ant if you want, let them free outside . If you turn the main tume around, it fits Under a bed or desk in a very tight space. You honestly will never regret buying one. It does not replace the wall vacuum for a total house cleaning but for so many occasions it is a lot faster and does the job. I bring it to the cottage and use itall the time specially for catching spiders and ants everywhere even on the ceeling , it is long enough.
