Sediment Filter

The Sediment Filter works as the first barrier in the Reverse Osmosis System, removing solid particles like silt, rust and dirt from the water and reducing a significant percentage of contaminants in the water. It prevents the other filters from getting clogged with fine particles and reduces the risk of damages to the other components.

iSpring’s first stage Sediment Filter (FP15) features a 5 micron size, perfect for capturing most of the fine sediments in the municipal water and preventing issues from clogs and pressure loss with filters that have smaller micron sizes.

Granular Activated Carbon Filter

Activated Carbon filters can trap and absorb organic chemicals and chlorine from the water effectively with its ability of mechanical filtration and physical adsorption. It can efficiently remove odors and improve the water taste.

Furthermore, the iSpring 2nd stage Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filter (FG15) includes special carbon media that filters out impurity in the water, which can efficiently protect and prolong the lifespan of the reverse osmosis membrane.

iSpring 5th Stage Post Carbon filter (FT15) works as the final stage in the RO system to capture any particles that may have accumulated inside the tank before pure water is delivered to the faucet. It can last up to 12 months depending on your source water and usage.

I’m so happy with this product the 4pk product RO filter replacement. I had initially called a local company to reinstall new filters and they wanted $100 just to arrive and then charge a lot of money for all the filters. I've had to go and buy an adaptor to fit the 1/2 inch lines on my system. Very frustrating! I've purchased other brands previously that fit out of the box.

We live out in the country and have well water which tastes good to begin with. We installed an iSpring 6-stage filter system for our drinking water in the house.
Since the filter system is installed in the crawl space under the house where all the other utilities are located, it falls to me to change the filters because my husband has claustrophobia about going into the crawl space.

iSpring has videos about how to change and replace the filters which I did watch. I was easily able to change the first three filters because they are in a container that is simply unscrewed, take out the old cylindrical filter, put the new one in, and re-screw the bottom of the container to the cover. However, I had difficulty removing the quick connection devices used on the remaining stages. I think I must have cracked two trying to get them off the old filters and trying to insert them into the new filters. They were dripping.

I called the iSpring customer service phone number and left a message about the problems I was having.

Michele called me back. She was very helpful in providing instruction about how the quick connect devices work which was not apparent in the filter change video I watched. She also told me there was a video specifically about how the quick connect devices work which I was not previously aware of. In addition, Michele very kindly offered to send me iSpring replacements for the parts that weren’t working correctly after I made the filter change at no charge.

When people come over to our house, there are frequently comments about the great tasting water from our special little iSpring filter faucet. I appreciate the high quality iSpring filter system, the excellent quality water that tastes delicious, the outstanding iSpring customer service, and the really nice iSpring customer service people like Michele.
