Long gone are the traditional bulb aspirators, they are difficult to control and often scare little ones. New hose style aspirators let mom or dad easily suck out congestion. We know, it sounds strange, but parents everywhere swear by it. Munchkin has designed our ClearNose Nasal Aspirator especially with parents in mind, as nobody wants to spread a cold any faster than they already do. Our internal chamber design doesn’t require any filter. Tiny noses come in many different shapes, so we've included 3 different tips to find the perfect fit for baby. Last, but not least, we know all these small parts can be a pain to keep track of, so we included a super handy storage case- no nose shall ever go clogged again!

My 6 week old was congested so I bought a manual bulb aspirator from the drug store but it was a total waste of money; offered little to no suction, hence, not effective. So I purchased the Muchkin nasal aspirator and it worked exactly how I wanted. I was easily able to clear snot from both baby’s nostrils and he didn’t even fuss (he was awake and sucking on his pacifier). Love that this product has three sized tips; the newborn one created a perfect seal with my baby’s nostrils. It was also very safe (no need to worry of inserting it in too far). Took just 20 seconds or less on each side to clear mucus. All snot stayed just inside the tip (didn’t enter the bulb or even come close to the tube going to my mouth, hence, no snot sucked into my mouth! The product is also super simple and fast to clean. Right after sucking the snot, disassemble and hold pieces under running tap water; tube, bulb and tip all rinse well in seconds. Can set all pieces in warm, soapy water, oscillate, and rinse again. Quick and easy! I really like the durable, stylish storage case too. I highly recommend this product.

    I have the Frida one and also the hydrasense but seriously think the filters are so unnecessary and costly overtime, thank goodness munchkin made this one without the need of buying replacement filters. Really wish I got this from the start. It washes easily, has 3 tips to choose from and it works the best, JUST GET IT!!!! You don't actually need to wash the tube, you just drop a few drops of rubbing alcohol and flick it through the tube and let it dry. Rest is soaked in a bucket of warm water and soap! Make sure to have the tube facing upwards when sucking the boogies.

    This is far superior than the hydrasense brand. Hydrasense doesn't provide the different sizes as your child grows, feels much cheaper than this and you have to replace the filter. I should have bought this one for my first child, the way it traps the snot is so satisfying, fits my child's nostrils comfortably and it's a must have for every parent.

    Amazing! My newborn son got the flu from his older sister right on his 1st week of life coming from the hospital. The regular bulb aspirators they sell for babies did little to help at all, the design did not seal properly on his little nostrils and the suction was too little and short, ending before actually pulling much out. He was weeks on end with this terrible cold, to the point he could not breath and started interfering with his feeding and sleep. Desperate, I tried everything: Nasal drops helped quite a bit but were only temporary and even then would sometimes not be enough to clear the huge amount of mucus he had. Oral homeopathic solutions felt more like psychological placebos so to feel we were doing something... Finally bought this product as I really felt if we could physically remove the congestion he would have a chance to fight it and get better. And so it did! The design sealed his nostril perfectly and because we control how strong and how long the suction goes on, it removed a lot of mucus really well! (None gets into the tubes or remotely close to your mouth, btw). Baby is finally showing signs of getting better after 3 weeks battling this cold. Mom approved!

    I like that it comes apart completely to clean well. The different size tips are great for different anatomy shapes. The only down side is the tubing could be a little longer and not so stiff.     I’ve had a love/hate relationship with the blue one (you know the brand) for the past year. It works great when it actually works, but it’s a pain to get it to work with the hose being super stiff and kinking easily and the nose piece being so long. My one year old absolutely hates booger pickers but she doesn’t mind the snot sucker at all. I looked into electric snot suckers but most seemed like the suction wasn’t great for any baby older than a newborn. Found this when I was browsing through all the different munchkin products and I have no idea why I didn’t find this sooner! It solves every issue that I had with the other one; the hose is flexible and doesn’t kink, the nose piece is short and easy to hold, I can hold it to her nose at a good angle, it’s easier to clean, etc. The reviews are not lying; as soon as I used this I [very happily] tossed the other one. I love that it has a case too and different sized tips. I’m about to send one to my friend that’s a new mom to save her the aggravation of fighting with the blue one.
