This product works as advertised. I have it on an older Yamaha receiver which is mismatched to some new large tower speakers. I love to get large volume out of my system and be immerced in my music. But my poor receiver heats up well enough to heat a cold room in the coldest winter months, which I believe degrades the electronics over time much faster. The Aircom T9 has solved the issue well. When left on auto, the fans come on and the sound is insignificant. It cools the amp right down and does so fast. I love this unit and seriously recommend it. It looks very cool too. Lots of adjustments as well. It feels well made and works as advertised.

Intelligent Programming
All AIRCOM cooling systems contain temperature and fan speed controls. AIRCOM T-Series features an additional LCD digital display with Alarm alerts, fan failure trigger, backup memory, ports to control additional fans, and more.
Ultra-Quiet PWM Fans
Each cooling system features dual-ball bearing fans that can blow horizontally or vertically, controlled by a PWM motor to reduce noises during changes in speed. Secured with anti-vibration silicone mounts to minimize noise.
Low Profile Design
A sleek design of only 1.5 inches tall enables the AIRCOM cooling system to fit in applications with a limited height clearance. Steel construction allows additional components of up to 30 pounds to be stacked on top.

Fit and finish are very high and the display settings are user friendly. I also like the fact that the display can be dimmed three levels so I can check on the status, while not having it be too bright in my home theater room. The six speed settings means that at the lowest speed, the unit is very quiet, while still extracting the heat away from the unit. Highest speed setting is claimed at 28db and that sounds about right. Fortunately, I don't see any reason to use it when in auto mode. I contacted AC Infinity customer service on a few occasions for product info and they were very quick to respond. I consider it to be an excellent value, given the performance and quality fit and finish.

I installed the t9 in my Yamaha 2060 so far am so happy that I can control the temperature of my AVR I like the smart option and the alarm alert temperature
I cannot say it's totally silent but it's so far so good and it's only 3days that am using it
I recommend this item for the quality and the price I wish they have a it in square so it match my AVR Yamaha ...I think look awesome in marantz line as it look as the same shape
