How to set the Timer parameters?

eg. Set as TS1=25, DS1=2, TS2=18, DS2=1;TR=1, TAH=8, TAM=30, TBH=18, TBM=0, CTH=9, CTM=26

During 8:30-18:00, the temp controls between 23°C~25°C;

During 18:00 to the next morning 8:30, the temp controls between 17°C~18°C;

Parameter CTH and CTM are used for current time setting. The set time is 9:26.

Great for regulating hedgehog enclosure

Great for regulating hedgehog enclosure
I have been using this thermostat with 2 heat lamps to keep my pet hedgehog warm for almost 5 months now. It's been very reliable and gives me peace of mind to know that my pet will be warm enough, but not overheat. The instruction manual was decent, and I was able to google a video tutorial on how to set it up (just to be sure I understood all the functions correctly). It did take a bit of experimenting to calibrate it with my digital thermometer, and to figure out where to place the thermostat probe for the best results. The main issue was that the probe takes a bit of time to pick up on changes in temperature - slower than my digital thermometer anyways, which will check temperatures every 10 seconds. The other downside is that the display is permanently on and bright red (see last photo). It's great for checking the status at night, but bad for nocturnal animals like hedgehogs. I wound up hanging the thermometer from under the table where my hedgehog enclosure sits. That way, she isn't affected by the glow of the display when she's up at night. For my purposes, I was aiming for a range between 24°C-26°C in my hedgehog's enclosure. I now set my thermostat's ideal temperature to 25.5°C (with the probe in the middle between the two heat sources), and for the lamps to turn on when it drops past 0.1°C of my desired temperature. That way, the far corners of the enclosure never drop below 24°C (which I monitor with a separate digital thermometer). Once I figured out the optimal set-up for the thermostat and probe, it's been great! Another plus is that the device remembers its previous settings after it's been unplugged or after power outages, so you don't have to worry about redoing everything.

    Included instructions couldn't be much less useful if they were written by a caffinated toddler. Fortunately the university of YouTube came to the rescue and I got it working well.

    Really like the ability to set a temperature offset. Was able to match the reading of other thermometers I have set up in the same space.

    I use it with my turtle aquarium as most heaters have issues when you lay them horizontally and burn out. It works well and I haven't had any issues to date. it was easy to setup, but you should have a second thermometer handy to calibrate it, and even the calibration is easy to do. The instructions are not great and not really in the best order but I found the device intuitive to setup. The only thing I modified was the probe wire, as its quite light and keeps the packing folds in it after you uncoil it, by encasing the wire (just above the probe end) in plastic tubing to make it a bit more ridged to position in the tank and protected from bites. I'm satisfied with it and was a good deal for the price.

    I use this to control the temperature of a glass terrarium using under-tank-heaters.

    I love that it has two outlets so that I can use two heat mats, or use a combination of a heat mat and another heat source.

    The setup is very easy and fast if you read the product manual, but it is certainly not intuitive how to set the temperature so it is important to follow the manual directions to set it to the right temperature.

    As it only has an upper limit, it works well to keep my tank within a 5 degree window but I would splurge for one with an upper and lower temperature limit if you require more precise control than that.

    I have found that it reads the temperature very accurately, as I have compared its reading to my other digital thermometers and it has always been the same reading between all of the probes.

    Overall, I highly recommend this product for keeping a terrarium in a slightly larger temperature range, between 5-10 degrees Farenheit. Especially at this price point, it is a great product.

    I love this!!!!!

    I bought this for my hedgehog to regulate the temperature for her. It took a bit to set up so did a quick YouTube and was able to find a tutorial video which made things easy! It is nice having two outlets so I can attach two lights- and having the temperature ranges is great too for making it more realistic to her natural environment (warmer during day and cooler at night). I loved it so much when I got my gecko I knew I had to buy it again! Would recommend! Only thing I wish it came with was a terrarium attachment to the glass or a cage mount! I zip tied it on the cage through the loop on it.

    Once I figured out the optimal set-up for the thermostat and probe, it's been great! Another plus is that the device remembers its previous settings after it's been unplugged or after power outages, so you don't have to worry about redoing everything.

    This is a pain to get set up, but once you do, you'll love it! I use it to change my leopard gecko's tank temperature for a warmer daytime temp and a cooler nighttime temp. Here's what I can tell you:
    1. If you prefer Fahrenheit (this defaults to Celcius), change that first to make your life easy
    2. If you don't hold the set button down after you change a setting, it will not save
    3. If you take too long to enter something in, it will time out and nothing you just changed will be saved.
    4. Write out the settings you want on paper first, in the order they appear in the settings menu, then you can just plug them in one after another, hold down "Set" and you're good to go! The picture is of my sequence, which I did at 7:36pm, to set the controller to 90F from 8am-9pm and 72F from 9pm until 8am.
    I still check the thermometer I have in his terrarium periodically, just to make sure I don't have a fried or frozen lizard, but so far, it's extremely accurate and consistent. I've been using it about 3 weeks. It's so much better for your reptiles' health to have a consistent schedule! This is a great value.

    Its a great inexpensive thermostat perfect for general use. The accuracy is pretty good but being that its an on/off function rather than dimming its not perfect. I keep reptiles, plants and fish, this works great for simple setups perfect for people who are just starting and need something cheap. The user interface and instructions are complete garbage though. Taking some time to watch youtube videos will ensure success. If you can, I would recamend trying to find the version of this with the plastic probe rather than the metal one. The metal one reads more accurate in general but its susceptible to corrosion.

    The programming instructions are written for those without an IT background. I was able to get them working quite easily. Use them to control a couple of heating pads for my jumping spiders (the temperature probe measures the temperature and turn the heating pads on and off as needed. It's nice because I have them set up to provide a daytime temperature and a lower night time temperature. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!

    Got this for my ball python's temporary enclosure. The instructions are worded a bit weirdly, and I did need to look up a video on how to set it up. There's a good amount of videos on youtube explaining everything, and if you're new to reptile keeping like me, it's really helpful.

    Works well, it's a simple on-off style one for a very good price. My only wish is that the instruction manual was more helpful, and that it had two probes instead of one, given that it has two outlets.

    I have a pet snake and have been needing a thermostat for a while. Using myself as a thermostat for his tank wasn't working very well, and I wanted something that would last and be accurate, something better than the cheap terrarium thermostats I found on 鶹. So far, this thermostat has made me very happy. The settings are useful and, for me, fairly easy to understand so you can get what you need out of it. Now my snake's tank temp stays between 75 and 77 degrees, right where I need it to be so he's not too hot or too cold. I was worried the thermostat might overheat, but it's only gotten a little warm since I've had it.
