It doesn’t matter because the signal to noise ratio is still good and it depends on how many pedals you are running. Even if you spend a fortune, daisy chaining power will always induce some bit of noise into the signal. Keep your cable runs short and keep power cables away from audio cables as much as possible and you’ll be fine.

I’m powering four dirt pedals with this supply and the siren is only noticeable when using 3-4 pedals and when not playing. As soon as you play, evenly softly, the sound of the guitar is so much louder in ratio to the siren that it’s not audible. Also, obviously the high gain pedals make the noise even louder and the siren sound is completely gone if you stick to 1-2 pedals or lower gain stuff. I almost never stack 4-5 pedals at the same time so it’s not even something I would think about. Maybe if you’re using 5 pedals at all times the noise would be too much but, I think s/n ratio would still be tolerable. You would just need to mute your guitar between songs.

Overall a great product for the price, just take some care when setting up.

It does work, I’ll give it that. Unfortunately for myself it doesn’t go beyond that.
There is way too much noise in the line which when playing guitar you don’t need that extra noise in you line.
I have tried also switching pedal order and no avail. It was noisy.

Pro: It does work, it will power some pedals.
Cons: I couldn’t bear the extra noise it produced in the line. I actually stopped using it after the test and had bought another product.

This is the most practical and a cost effective way if you are a minimalist and you need no more than 3-5 pedals on your board. The adapter is light weight and fits very well well with an extension board that I use. Daisy-chaining up to 5 pedals is quite convenient, with no noise at all (except when I use a high gain distortion pedal - but you always have the option of adding a Noise Gate with it). The power is sufficient (1A) even if you use 2-3 digital pedals that consume up to 300 mA each, as the other analogue pedals have a very low current draw ( 12 - 25 mA). The maximum that one of my pedal consumes is 110 mA. I liked this one so much that I purchased another one as a back up - just in case the adapter or the daisy chain has some troubles (haven't had any yet, so far, so good!).
The only thing that is somewhat disappointing is - the adapter does not have Donner branding on it. So not sure if it's really a Donner or some generic adapter. However, it works perfectly well and you actually do not need expensive power supplies. Another tip - using up to 5 pedals will also potentially eliminate the need of using a buffer pedal, as there is no signal loss (or if any at all, it is insignificant and practically doesn't affect your sound). I am quite happy with the purchase. Highly recommended if you use only a few pedals.
