The box was sealed and appeared to be unopened, but the pliers are fairly scuffed and scratched. They are tools, so it's cosmetically minor at best, but it makes it hard to tell if you're paying full price for an open box.

The jaws are poorly machined. Lots of unexpected sharp edges sticking out, that cause metal flakes after using them a bit.

My previous pliers all had wire cutters at the rear of the jaw, these don't and are just dull and flat.

They seem they will do the job, at a budget price, but are not as refined as some of the bigger known names.
