Cleaning Supplies Needed

- Bleach (if needed to remove mildew).

- Abrasive Cleanser like Comet.

- Abrasive Pad.

- Lime-A-Way.

- Sandpaper (#400/#600 grit wet/dry).

- Tack Cloth.

- Room Fan.

Surface Preparation

- Remove metal drains, sand or wire brush peeling paint away.

- Repair chips or cracks with patching compound.

- Remove any mildew with solution of bleach and water.

- Remove all caulk and wipe area clean.

- Prepare surface with an abrasive pad and Lime-A-Way.

- Sand surface with #400/#600 grit wet/dry sandpaper & rinse.

- Before painting, wipe surface clean with dry tack cloth.

Application

- Use painter's tape to mask coverage area.

- Open windows and/or turn on fans for proper ventilation.

- Shake can for 1 minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle.

- Shake often during use.

- Hold can 10-16" from surface.

- Apply 2-3 light coats, spraying horizontally and vertically.

- Allow to dry 3 days before exposing to water.

Tips & Tricks

- Use a standard household cleaner prior to painting.

- Avoid use of muriatic acid.

- Spray in steady back-and-forth motion.

- Slightly overlap each stroke.

- Re-caulk affected areas of tub prior to using.

    Don’t use this product ! It is terrible, ruined out bathtub ! It is gritty and not shiny at all very dull . Contacted the company two weeks ago and haven’t heard anything from them . Used 6 cans of paint and still looks bad followed all the instructions

    I bought the bone color spray from home depot. Needless to say, it wasn't the color I wanted but that was all they had in stock during that time. I used it and it came out pretty poor. It had a rough texture, and 1 can of bone color could only cover 10 sqft with 1 coat.

    I bought the white color from amazon (the color I actually wanted), and I bought 2 because of my first experience with the bone color. But I was impressed with the white spray. It actually gave me 2 coats for 10sqft. And it spray on way nicer. Smooth to the touch, and larger spray coverage.

    I'm keeping the 2nd can because it worked so well. I would recommend this product, but I would avoid the bone color one and go for the white!

    This product has zero value, no idea why this is sold to consumers. No matter how much you shake it or what pressure you put on the trigger, it splurts out the paint very randomly, not evenly at all. You have to pass so many times on the same spots, and then since a random amount comes out, you will have untouched spots and leaking ones. I'm not even sure this covers a square foot, so totally inaccurate information on the product too!

    Completely useless, and leaves a crazy amount of toxic fumes that will smell for days. No mask is good enough you will probably vomit in it anyway. Waste of money! If you really want to try refinishing a tub, use the two parts liquid kit. It's still hard as hell to apply it evenly, but it's infinitely better than whatever this product tried to be.
