Alright, let me set this straight. You're going to see reviews all over the place, praising mechanical keyboards, different color actuators, different shortcut buttons, but sometimes, you just want a darn keyboard that serves it's purpose.
People associate keyboards with productivity and the more you spend, they better you are at your job.. no.
If you want ultra quiet, expect your keys too feel like marshmallows. If you want clicks, expect to p off your colleagues. This is the perfect in between. The keys are fun to tap, make just the right click without filling a room or cubicle. It's plastic, most are plastic.. rubber handrests are fine, but they will wear out, the rubber will eventually crack or develop some nasty marks.
This is not a top of the line keyboard, but why would you need something ultra sophisticated anyway? This checks all boxes as a great work keyboard. For gaming, probably not, but again, are you a competitive gamer? Do you get paid to game? Or do you want to play Doom/Doom 2 from the 90s. Even modern games, not very often is it necessary to have a "gamer" anything besides a system that can handle it.
Functional,simple, satisfying and quiet enough. I don't see the need for any additional buttons, nor a knob to control the temperature of the, it's a keyboard, and a fine one.
