- Reviewed in Canada on June 7, 2025Verified PurchaseCover is very good. I have brushed and rolled it from the can. In this job, most is sprayed with a Fiji 4 turbine sprayer.
Just use the tip suggested with tire sprayer for latex paint. If I were rolling this whole job, I would use a roller for flat walls (as opposed to rough surface) and I would thin it about 10%. I know it’s not recommended, but this is new wood, will be inside, and was topcoated with mineral paint.(any cabinet paint, oil or water base is okay. You could do this job with other paints, but I’ve used the bulls eye primer before over water stains and tree sap with success, so I like the leveling, and it is sand able if you get a run. Same as mineral paint. Together, they look great. The wood parts with no paint got Odies oil. Safe if it gets licked, no fumes in any of these products when dry. Highly recommend this primer, because it sticks well, last, and paint stick well to it.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 30, 2025Verified PurchaseExactly what i was looking for smell was stronger then expected but still good
- Reviewed in Canada on March 6, 2025Verified PurchaseI was skeptical at first however, this product actually does what it advertises. I have bedroom ceilings which were showing signs of water staining due to the bathroom fan fixture not being vented properly to the outdoors. Instead, water vapor to the attic over many years saturated the attic space and insulation. The source of the problem was fixed, but now I had to deal with the staining in the ceilings of the bedrooms. After two coats of this product the staining was contained. I then proceeded to do two coats of normal ceiling paint which made the ceilings perfect once more. I highly recommend this product.
- Reviewed in Canada on February 27, 2025Verified PurchaseThis is a good primer paint that goes on nice and thick. It covers yellow stains in a bathroom from moisture on the walls. It also covers any blemishes or darker spots. I used this on my ceiling in my bathroom because I had moisture problems of my old paint peeling off but after I sanded this paint covered everything nicely.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 8, 2025Verified PurchaseExcellent product and price! Best primer ever made! #lovebullseye
- Reviewed in Canada on December 10, 2024Verified PurchaseHaven't used these cans yet, but I know from past experience that it's a good product. My issue is with the shipping. Thank goodness they put each gallon in a plastic bag, because they put them in a box too big for the 2 gallons I ordered, and I guess pressure changes while in transit, too, caused both cans to leak, and because the box was too big, they rolled around, damaged the plastic bags, and so there was paint all over the inside of the box. I was displeased.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 22, 2025Verified PurchaseI've used the primer before and it's very good but the problem is how it's shipped, the 鶹 cardboard box was placed into plastic bag by the postal service because it was leaking primer everywhere.
- Reviewed in Canada on February 11, 2025Verified PurchaseI ordered 5 gallons of this primer. The primer exhibits skinning inside all unopened container. See pic. I lost about 1 pint for 5 gallons. It is the product, the storage at warehouse or the shipping during winter (this primer containt antifreeze)? Coverage is 300 sq ft by gallon on OSB Aspenite.
