Conceived for industrial heavy duty applications that require enhanced cooling performance and advanced ingress protection, the NF-A14 industrialPPC (Protected Performance Cooling) is a ruggedised high-speed version of the retail model. Thanks to the outstanding aerodynamic efficiency of the NF-A14 design and the use of a novel three-phase motor, the industrialPPC version provides superior airflow and pressure capacity while keeping noise levels and power consumption moderate as against comparable high-speed fans. While its fibre-glass reinforced polyamide construction and water and dust protection make the NF-A14 industrialPPC suitable for operation in challenging environments, the renowned SSO2 bearing technology ensures an MTTF of over 150.000hrs. Topped off with Noctua’s trusted reliability, the NF-A14 industrialPPC is an ideal choice for highly demanding applications that require superior flow rates and ultimate dependability.

AAO frame

Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames feature integrated anti-vibration pads as well as Noctua's proprietary Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures, both of which further refine the fan's performance/noise efficiency.

2000rpm industrialPPC version

Thanks to its elevated 2000rpm top speed, the NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 provides a significant performance boost over the 1500rpm retail version. Combined with the industrialPPC series' robust polyamide construction and advanced protection features, this makes the fan ideal for challenging industrial applications.

Three-phase motor design

While most axial fans use single-phase motors with 4 slots, Noctua's industrialPPC fans feature a three-phase design with 6 slots, which provides smoother transitions between the slots and thus allows for even higher running smoothness, further reduced vibrations and unprecedented energy efficiency.

IP52 water- and dust protection

Thanks to a special varnish coating that covers the motor and PCB, the NF-A14 industrialPPC complies with the ingress protection rating IP52. This means that it is not only highly dust resistant but also withstands dripping water equivalent to 3mm rainfall per minute.

Fibre-glass reinforced polyamide construction

Both the impeller and the frame of Noctua’s industrialPPC fans are made entirely from fibre-glass reinforced polyamide. This material can withstand temperatures up to 140°C and makes the fans even more robust and break-proof than Noctua’s standard fibre-glass reinforced PBT fans.

Please Note:

The industrialPPC models are high-speed fans for industrial applications. As such, they are not as quiet as other Noctua fans and less suited for low-noise PC builds.

Performs better than my Corsair 140mm's.

I replaced three Corsair AF140 Quiet 66.4 CFM 140 mm case fans with three of these NF-A14's with the same front intake *2 / rear exhaust * 1 configuration. Case temps under load dropped from 65C down to 48C. Unsure if this is due to the age of the previous corsair fans or if these Noctua's simply perform that much better. Happy either way. (Bonus: No RGB unicorn puke!)
The only negative of this fan is that the 3pin connector cable is shorter than the fans it is replacing. Depending on your case/MB configuration this may limit the options for positioning of the fan. I am unable to use these on the front of my Corsair 750D case as the cable will not reach any of the fan connections on the ASUS Maximus Z690 Hero MB.

I bought Noctua because of function. I don't like LED anything in my case and since I have no glass side panel, these were just fine.

I have a strong breeze coming out of the back of my case. I can actually feel it a few feet away! My internal temps are much lower, GPU and CPU run cooler, and the noise level isn't bad. They just make a little white noise at 85% speed, which seems to be just right for my PC. At full speed, they are a bit louder and whine a bit. It made no difference for me running 85 or 100% temp wise. These really move a lot of air.
There is no wobbling and the fan is perfectly centered. The build quality is sturdy and flawless. This is the best high speed fan I ever received. They might not be your number 1 choice for a quiet pc, but the noise level isn't terrible either. Worth it

I used two of these 140mm industrial fans for perhaps a somewhat uncommon purpose. I am using these fans as gable vent fans in my plastic 11'x11' storage shed. My Lifetime shed has a vent built into each gable end. I have a 50W solar roof panel connected to a charge controller and a 12v deep cycle battery, and this battery powers my two fans set in series, through a digital 12v thermostat. I mounted the fans inside the shed directly in front of each gable vent opening, arranging them such that one fan (on the north shaded side of the shed) draws slightly cooler outside air into the shed, and the fan at the other end of the shed (on the hotter, sunnier south side) expels hot air inside the shed outward. This push-pull arrangement seems to maximize air movement and cooling effect inside the shed. These fans are super efficient, only drawing about 1/3 amp each. They are very high RPM, efficient little air-movers, and they are surprisingly pretty quiet considering how fast they spin and move air. I wasn't concerned about noise in my shed, but nevertheless, I was pleased with the relative low noise they produce. With the weather-sealed bearing arrangement on these fans, I will have no concern about any dust or moisture effect in my outdoor setting. My single 12v battery being charged by my one 50W solar panel is able to stay fully charged even when these fans run as much as 16-18 hours per day in the heat of the summer. I love these fans! They are super fast, super efficient, relatively quiet air-movers.
