The raised Toilet seat took me all day and that is like most people that buy this problem. It will not work on most new toilet seats today ...The lid must have two bolt holes in the back and most new toilets do not work that way... Older toilets maybe 20 years ago had two bolt holes in the back of the lid but not most of the ones today... So I made it work with duck tape - do not let your friends see this duck tape toilet seat or use your toilet... They will never come back to your house...

    This product has drastically improved my visits to the bathroom. I no longer dread the experience. It is easy to use, and I’m thrilled to have it. I was disappointed though, as the image showing the product, depicts a toilet seat cover as well, this product didn’t come with a toilet seat cover. The seller ought to revise the image.

    Bought this for an elongated, elevated toilet, as my husband was having hip surgery. You need to remove the toilet seat, then install the toilet seat over it. The toilet seat is curved a bit, and this raised bit is flat. Had to install many wide washers to raise the toilet seat to sit over this raised portion, otherwise the toilet seat sat up by 1" (with no amendment would of put too much stress on the toilet seat, and eventually would of broken the seat attachments).
    My husband loves it, calls it the executive bathroom, and likes that it is so secure. We set it on the widest setting for the handles, but anyone over 250 lbs would find the handles up against their legs.
