Directions

For New Users: Apply product to a small area once a day for three days to test if you are sensitive to this product. If no discomfort occurs, cover the entire affected area with a thin layer. Start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily, if needed. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. Wet face the gently massage product in a circular motion for up to 2 minutes. Rinse well and dry.

This is the highest concentration of benzoyl peroxide available in an OTC product here in Canada. I got this because Dr. Dray recommended it for folliculitis and ingrowns (which are often caused by it). I tend to get them anywhere I shave as well as on my scalp (along with sebum plugs and flakes).

I didn't realize till I saw the other reviews here that I could use it to relieve my years of itching uncomfortable scalp issues along with preventing body acne. The best way to use this on your scalp I've found is to use shampoo first (I wash twice with Pantene Sheer Body) and then work this in on your scalp with your fingers. I also mix with water and rub onto my armpits, arms (where I have KP), back, butt and groin. Leave on for 2-5 mins while you're doing whatever else.

Rinse SUPER WELL. It is peroxide. It can bleach clothes, skin and hair if not rinsed, but I'm a dark brunette and have yet to notice anything.

This stuff will cause your skin to purge the first few times. I had a bunch of tiny clogged pores on my chest and I let this sit for a couple minutes and rinsed it the first time, and a day later had a bunch of surfaced breakouts. I expressed them, used it again that night, and then the next day they were almost completely healed.

Use it only every couple days at most, mousturize and use a serum, it is very drying. You get twice as much as Panoxyl for the same price.

Totally unrelated but the new packaging is nice.

Lorsque j’utilise le produit, je le laisse sur le visage pour la nuit après l’ avoir nettoyé et le lendemain matin ma peau est plus éclaircie. Je ne pourrais pas l’utiliser davantage compte tenu que ce produit asséché la peau. Je ne l’utilise pas comme nettoyant, car il tache les vêtements, si tu en échappes.

This can be very messy as it's really runny. It's okay on my sensitive skin but leaves a weird film which I don't like. It would get 5 stars otherwise as it is efficacious!

I prefer to use this as a wash off mask rather than a cleanser to reap the benefits of the BP a bit more. As a wash, it doesn't sit on my skin for long enough to actually work well, but if I spread it on dry skin and let it sit for 10-30 minutes (depending on my skin'sneeds), I find it works better. I rinse it off after the desired time has lapsed and wash off the filmy residue with a gentle cleanser, then finish my skin-care routine.

⭐ J'aime beaucoup ce "Nettoyant d'urgence anti-acné" de Oxy, car il est sans parfum et très efficace. Il tue les bactéries causant l'acné.
Le peroxyde se fraie un chemin dans le sébum (ce qui débouche les pores de la peau) ; puis les bulles d'oxygène qu'il contient, en remontant à la surface, aident à expulser les particules.
Après l'avoir appliqué, je frictionne ma peau avec une brosse douce en silicone: ça aide à déloger, sans blesser la peau.
Je l'utilise en alternance avec le scrub de Oxy aux cendres volcaniques, et les pads Deep Pore de Oxy, selon les besoins.

⭐ I like this "Emergency Acne Cleanser" from Oxy because it has no fragrance, and it is really effective.
After applying, i rub my skin with a soft silicone brush, to help penetration, then to expulse oil and other particules.
I use it alternately with Oxy's "Volcanic Ash Scrub" and Oxy's "Deep Pore" pads, depending on the needs.

This is a strong product so be aware if it's the first time trying it. I bought this to use it for my armpits as it kills bacteria involved in smelling underarm, but after 1 week my skin started itching so badly I had to scratch myself continuously and I had red underarms. Once I stopped using this product it all went away within 2 days. It is a powerful formula, i should've went with a lower dossage of benzoyl.It may still work if you have acnee altough it's very drying and we know that the last thing you wanna do is dry your face out especially if you have acnee.
