    Hey I was just going to reorder this one and was reading some of the reviews, and have to add my 2 cents.

    One of the reviews mentions that you cannot use this with an electric razor, and I just want to clarify that you most definitely can use this product with an electric razor. I believe the reviewer even mentioned that they didn’t wet their face before applying this product.

    Always wet your face before applying this, and you don’t need a lot of it to lather your face, I only use 2 very small dabs on each side.

    I’ve used this product almost every day for over a year with my electric razor and have never had any issues. Gives a nice clean shave and cleans up easily.

    Now when I bought this product I also bought a tube of the similar Nivea for sensitive skin as I wasn’t sure which I would prefer. I prefer this one, so if I was only using the one tube it wouldn’t last me a year but I still got about 10% left in the tube, so that makes it about 9 months with one tube.

    It’s good stuff and great for electric too.

    I have used many shaving soaps, creams, gels, etc. I use both a traditional razor with a double edge (where you change the blades not a cartridge) and Schick Xtreme 3 disposable blades. I have been using this product off and on for about a year now.

    I find that shaving soaps work better than canned gels or creams and I have been using soaps for the last 11 years. This product was recommended by a relative and has become a favorite even over the $11 plus shaving soap pucks.

    This product for me (heavy black whiskers) only requires three light dabs--one on the neck, one on each cheek then a damp brush to swirl it around and lather it up. The lubrication is excellent, no issues with dry skin, and it takes very little product so it goes a long way. Compared to canned aerosol products, this is hands down better and less expensive. Scent is light which is fine. My skin is sensitive to shaving (and I have to shave daily for work), I get zero shaving rash with this product.

    This was my second purchase and I would recommend it to others.

I do use it after shaving oil but even in this case its was not a smoothest experience. I have a feeling that its not concentrated enough. It doesn’t give you a huge foam - just apply it directly to your brush without making foam in cup. But definitely can be recommended- honest 4 out of 5 stars

    This Nivea Shave Cream is the Bomb. It doesnt give a thick foamy lather but it creates a really nice slick surface upon which you can glide your blade. My wife is German so every summer while travelling to visit her family I'd bring 3 or 4 home with me which would last more than a year. With the restrictions that have been in place, I was really glad to see it on 鶹. For cartridge razors I havenet found anything better at any price (including Jack Black and several others). just a little dab rubbed in and the Gillette just glides. With my Safety Razor I use the same amount on the top of a wet brush and I get several passes. I love this stuff!

    I used to buy this item in almost any pharmacy here in Canada. But as of the last year the stores only carry gel or fancy brand shave "butter". Which honestly is slimy and gross.     I have tried all types of gels, oils, foams and creams but NONE has ever come close to this one in making a good shave a great one. A tiny amount on the tip of a finger (less than the amount of toothpaste you’d use if a dentist recommended it) is enough to do your whole face; wet your face and massage the cream in then get to work!
