Either way it keeps my little one from scratching herself! It’s also a little tricky to get the ‘corners’ of the nail closet to the nail bed since the buffer is a little wide, but overall much easier than clippers!

FTM here. I was so scared to cut my baby’s nails especially in the early days. They’re just so tiny and fragile! So I saw this and had to try it. I LOVE IT! It’s so easy to use, not loud at all so it won’t disturb baby if you use it while they’re sleeping. Gentle on their little nails and fingers. It has two speed settings and stops spinning if you push too hard or get it any skin. But even if you get it in some of their finger tip it’s so gentle that it doesn’t hurt baby at all. Gentle filing pads for each stage of baby’s growth. My only wish is that they provided at least one extra filing pad for each stage, you can buy extras separately, which I did, but I wish they just included one extra. I’d still buy it again if I had to.

This will be my go to gift for any other expecting moms. Eventually I’ll use regular baby nail clippers but until then this has been amazing.

I purchased this nail trimmer based on the reviews of others and am so happy that I did! It is *whisper* quiet when running and entirely accident-proof as the file stops with any resistance applied at all. So no risk of injuring baby! I had clippers before this and was so tired of the stress of trying to clip my son’s nails twice a week during a nap, in a poorly lit room, sweating like I was clipping the red wire of a bomb lol. Now, he watches while I file his little nails and toe nails and doesn’t flinch or make a sound, and I can also do it while he’s sleeping without worrying that I’ll injure or wake him. It would be handy if it had a little LED light like some others suggested but I find the angle/shape of this one so much more comfortable to hold and since I now don’t have to sneak in his nail trims only when he’s napping, it’s not a huge deal.

My only regret is that I didn’t have this since day 1!! I will be gifting this at ALL baby showers for my new mama friends from now on!
