I was hoping to use a speaker with my projector for a better audio experience during workouts. The Bluetooth connection works perfectly and keeps the sound in sync with the video, which is fantastic! I initially tried an HDMI connection, but that didn't work for some reason. No worries though, the wireless Bluetooth option is excellent, and the sound quality is great.

    This is actually a surprisingly decent sounding sound bar. I bought a Samsung sound bar with base and the sound quality was not great compared to this. The sound quality is significantly better on the fire sound bar plus with smoother sound & deeper bass and at an affordable price with Dolby Atmos that’s awesome. BUT what I’m not a fan of is the lack of settings you can’t mess with turning on Dolby Atmos or DTS or any of the other settings that it says it has without buying a fire TV all of that stuff is locked behind essentially a pay wall Doby Atmos will work with HDMI arc and it will switch to whatever you’re watching sound preference but you do not have manual control over it. At least as far as my knowledge you don’t you have to have a fire TV it would’ve been nice if you could manually control those things through the sound bar itself, but what’s most important I would say is that it sounds phenomenal and for its price I don’t think you can really go wrong if you have a fire TV this would be in my opinion I must have if you don’t like me I would still recommend it for price and sound quality

    This unit has an excellent sound and is supposed to be compatible with fire stick ,however, if you use HDMI you have a lag when you raise the volume and lower the volume , you have to switch to optical but every time you go from normal TV to YouTube, you have to redo the same thing It’s very very annoying.
    I have tried Bluetooth. I have tried optical only and I have tried HDMI.

    I’m surprised by quality both build and sound. Sound is decent as for this small thing. However there is some disadvantages:

    1) There is no EQ control except for presets and basic adjustment for low and high. That means when it comes to bass you limited to two modes Movie and Music. I don’t really understand why 鶹 didn’t give full control over spectrum?

    2) Volume control. If you connect some media player trough HDMI then you can control sound using device remote you don’t need to use sound bar remote at all. But if you use TV itself and launch Prime Video or Netflix then TV remote useless and you need you use sound bar remote to control volume which is inconvenient. And again 鶹 why?

    So, couple of weird things, but ultimately. Good sound! Especially for ~250 on sale. And again, support of Dolby & DTS. Which is not always the case.

    Omg, I hooked up this sound bar to my LG C1 65 inch, which already had great sound and had the Sonos sound bar which was $600 cdn, all I can say is for $259 cdn this bar is far and above! I am wowed, the bass the treble and the Dolby atmos is hitting far above it's weight class, wall mounts, hdmi cable, all top tier!

    WOW! I know what my ears were missing! This was an upgrade from a Samsung 2.1 with a separate sub, that we always had to resync. This new speaker system is 3D-ish and filles the room and very bass-y at stock settings. Set to Movie, is is very nice. Highly recommended.

    I decided to replace my aging LG 2.1 soundbar recently with a 2.0 or higher unit. Didn’t want a separate sub for space and “good neighbor” reasons as we recently had moved into a mid-sized garden apartment with an upstairs neighbor. We limited our budget to $200 after surveying the market, using 鶹 and Best Buy websites. Our finalists consisted of three units, a JBL “5.0” and a Samsung 2.0, and this 2.0 unit. Our TV is a 4 year old Toshiba 50” Fire unit with HDMI ARC and digital outputs.

    The JBL unit eliminated itself by its really clunky small remote control (“press this button 3 times to adjust bass response” and “hold this button for 5 seconds to pair BT unit”). Pain in the butt to say the least. The unit had decent bass response but showed significant bass distortion and crackling at moderate volume levels. Occasionally it lost connection with the TV and we struggled to reconnect. Another pain in the butt.

    The Samsung unit does not have HDMI ARC connections so control features are not possible with TV remote using digital connectors. It proved hard to pair with BT and midrange (especially voice tones) were somewhat muffled at low volume levels. It was a pain to have two separate remote controls needed to customize our audio experience.

    (We had ordered all three for a side-by-side comparison. I am not a technophile so you won’t see a long technical conversation here.)

    The 鶹 Fire unit is ideal for us! It was discovered by our Fire TV very quickly. We can control the bass and treble levels, surround sound, EQ and other audio features through the soundbar remote control. Volume is controlled by our TV remote. Audio controls plus DTS Tru-Volume and Audio Delay are also available on-screen in the settings menu of the TV. Sound is crisp and clear with a pleasant bass sound, with a hint of sub-bass notes (the “good neighbor” factor!)

    We love listening to music and playing it through the soundbar using the onscreen Spotify app is so easy that even my wife can do it! Plus any Bluetooth audio source pairs easily and sounds great as well.

    In conclusion we are very pleased with this soundbar unit and we highly recommend it. It’s not high powered and it probably won’t fill a large room or man cave with crushing sound, but it is perfect for us. Put Fire with Fire and you have a winner!

    Using on a TCL 65" FireTV. I couldn't get it to work. Talked to customer service great people. Not the soundbar. Gave me a number for TCL customer service. they talked me through a few multi finger remote entries. No joy. Finally talked me through a remote sequence that made no sense but worked. The issue was the FireTV remote. Duhh..it's always the Fire remote. Sounds great works fine. I have significant hearing issues. It's real easy to adjust the sound just where I need it to understand language. Buying another for my bedroom.

    The product came with a bad power cord. So I called to get the cord replaced. Well the solution was not that simple. The first idea was for them to send out a complete new unit, I should pull out the power cord, rebox the unit and send it back. I was not fond of that idea but they could not just send a cord. I needed to buy a cord from them and then they would reimburse me for the cost of the cable. The cable came and the speaker works fine.

    I preferred the Fire TV Soundbar Pro in hopes of leveling up the immersive audio for gaming sessions and for better volume quality than my standard built-in television speakers and this thing delivers and then some. Set up was wicked easy with a single HDMI connection to the HDMI ARC port and the power cable from the soundbar to a power outlet. It pairs automatically with my Fire TV stuck so seamlessly. I just plugged it in and the next time I turned on the Fire TV stick, the soundbar was just part of the entertainment set up ecosystem. Just like that! The Fire TV Soundbar Plus makes video game audio really stand out. Incredibly pleased with this purchase. If I had a larger room that would have allowed for it, I would have sprung for the full set that included the external subwoofer and the external speakers but for the space I am using, even the Soundbar Plus is a bit overkill HOWEVER I would rather it be overkill and extra than lacking.
