To control both your TV and your Fire TV Soundbar Plus's volume and power, you must use a TV remote (not included). Only select Fire TV streaming media players and Fire TV smart TVs allow you to change audio settings within the Fire TV menu.

For best results, including playback in Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound, connect the Fire TV Soundbar Plus to the HDMI ARC or eARC port on your TV. Learn more about setup here.

This is a very nice soundbar to compliment my FireTV. It sounds great, plenty of bass and voice clarity setting works well. Turning up the volume is somewhat slow as others have mentioned in their reviews but, tolerable. Setup was a breeze, had it up and running in about 5 minutes after installing it to the TV. All in all, a good investment (bought on Prime Day).

    This unit has an excellent sound and is supposed to be compatible with fire stick ,however, if you use HDMI you have a lag when you raise the volume and lower the volume , you have to switch to optical but every time you go from normal TV to YouTube, you have to redo the same thing It’s very very annoying.
    I have tried Bluetooth. I have tried optical only and I have tried HDMI.

    I’ve replaced sound systems over the years, and my latest was over $1000.

    This unit was super easy to setup, plug in, and go. The TV remote worked instantly unlike other systems.

    It’s slim design fits under the TV, unlike my other which has to lay on its side. The other cost 4x more and the sound not as clear. The built in subwoofer is fine. Again, I paid so much more but you never turn up a subwoofer too high.

    Bottom line, very happy with this sound bar! You can spend more for a name brand like me, but no need. Save it.
