    Nice size and very reasonably priced butter roller. Perfect to butter bread and buns etc.

    Simple to use. We use these in our food trucks. Place the tin on hot plancha/griddle, remove the roller and add 250g of butter (will hold 500g) let the butter melt and return the rolling wheel.
    Then wipe the bun across the wheel to evenly apply melted butter to the bun/bread, then griddle the bread for a perfectly crisp bun.

    Slightly negatives.
    It’s awkwardly sized, not quite the same shape as a 1/6 gastro so doesn’t stack properly.
    The axle which the butter wheel sits on is a hair too wide for the little grooves. The wheel does spin but needs a little downward pressure from the bun, so if you want a perfect bun with no marks from heavy fingers, you need to be careful.

    Overall great item, just ever so slightly flawed, but not enough to make it something you should pass by.

    If you’re looking for a butter wheel. This is for you.

    You will not be disappointed on this purchase. We use it every time we grill! It holds 2 sticks of butter and we just place it on the flat stone so the butter will be melted. Roll the bread/buns and get them nice and toasted. It is very functional!! Rolls real easy and doesn't mess up the bread. As far as cleaning, it's a breeze. I would pour the melted butter in a bowl and use hot water and soap to clean it up. Not expensive and worth it to get that toasted restaurant bun.

    This is a must have if you plan on toasting lots of buns.

    I recently used this to butter hundreds of brioche buns for hamburgers and this sped up the process for me so much. It saved me so much time. You will need about a stick of butter or a stick and a half of butter for the wheel to hit the melted butter when your rolling the bun on it. So just have a box of butter handy if you plan on toasting a lot.

    As far as cleaning goes, I thought it would be so difficult because by the time I got to clean it the remaining butter had hardened and to my surprise it was super easy to clean.

    I absolutely recommend this product if you want to toast lots of buns fast during your next bbq event.

    This works well when you have enough melted butter in the bottom, but when you've used most of that butter it no longer works buttering the buns and there's still a good stick left on the pan. I can see it working for Comercial use but if your grilling a few burgers at home just use a knife and spread your own
