The container is made of heavy duty plastic and adheres to the top of the toilet via two strong suction cups. It is easy to open and close, and can fit two average sized rolls inside. The reason I took off a star is because the product image makes it appear stark white, which is not the case— the color is more of a speckled off white. Not a big deal, as this does not impede the functionality.
