My wife and I have coffee early every morning and use this carafe for our coffee. It works well for keeping the coffee hot and is easy to pour. The size is great, perfect for 1 pot of coffee. It looks nice, too. The ONLY issue is that it makes the "sucking" rubber gasket sound of air escaping if you don't push the cap down really tight to seal it in between pours. This is common, but was hoping to find one that didn't make that annoying sound.

Cons: The carafe lid is not made well. With regular use, the heat of the liquids created a fracture in the fake metal and upon pouring the liquid, all contents pored out.

Pros: the carafe itself is nice and holds heat well for hot beverages.

Cons: The product didn’t last a year before the lid cracked. And it’s too late to get a refund or replacement.

Suggestion: make the lid with real stainless steel instead of plastic.
