INTRODUCTION:

• Smart relay, can control electrical loads up to 5 amps at 120V (or control larger loads by using this relay to control other relays or contactors with sufficient voltage and current ratings)
• The YoLink Relay is a smart, dry contact relay that can be controlled by your iOS and Android devices and by Alexa and Google Assistants, and 3rd-party IoT integration, such as IFTTT. The YoLink Relay can be used to make any non-smart low voltage or high voltage* device or equipment smart. Simply add the YoLink Relay to the YoLink app (YoLink Hub required, not included) and enjoy remote status display and control of your device/equipment, including on/off control, timers and schedules, from anywhere with an internet connection. In addition to voice control using Alexa or Google Assistants, the user-friendly YoLink app provides options for automated control of your devices, appliances, and equipment via automation (e.g. “If motion detected, activate 12V DC security siren”)
• *If the Relay will control loads over 5 amps in current or 120VAC or 30VDC in voltage, a “dumb” load relay (with coil voltage and contact rang sized accordingly) must be installed. The Relay will control this dumb relay, which will control switching of low or high voltage to your equipment

• Control-D2D Device-to-Device pairing allows for some functionality of devices even during the loss of WiFi, internet, and even power (battery-powered devices, only; this device is not battery-powered; requires a UPS or battery backed-up low-voltage power supply, for continued operation in power outages.

Requirements:

• YoLink Hub with an internet connection (wired Ethernet or 2.4GHz Wi-Fi). Refer to the Hub user guide for additional information
• Smartphone or tablet running iOS 9 or higher, Android 4.4 or higher
• Existing or new home appliance or device with wiring ready
• DC 5-24V power supply with wiring ready (Power adapter/supply NOT included)
• Voltage tester, small slotted screwdriver, wire stripper/cutter or utility knife, or scissors
• Double-sided mounting tape (3M brand heavy-duty recommended)
