I attached a picture of the hook in comparison to a women's hand. These hooks are idea for small, light items like keys or dog leashes, they would NOT be ideal for bulkier or heavy items like coats, backpacks or purses. For myself it is ideal as I bought it for hanging dog leashes on for my grooming shop. The hook itself is super adorable and I am very happy with my purchase! It was exactly what I was looking for!
