Great pressing!
This double LP is pressed on 180 gram vinyl. It is shrink wrapped tight but easy enough to slice the opening and keep the shrink wrap on. Both records play flat with no warps. The vinyl had some suction plunger marks on it from the factory…most washed off but not totally. It did not affect sound quality. Only 4 songs per side so they are not compressed and play with full stage. Lots of depth and lacquer was engineered and cut well (lots of balance between highs, mids, and bass). It’s a very good quality pressing and reissue! Who ever engineered, mixed, and cut this did an excellent job!

    I first came across The Tragically Hip in 1990-91 when I spent a year in Canada at university, and have every album they released. It amazed me they never made it big over here, as their music ranks with the likes of U2 and REM.

    This album is so much more than you typical ‘best of’ - 37 great tracks from approx 17 years, just showing what a great catalogue of music they produced. It was such a sad loss to music when Gord Downie died, and the final concert such a moving experience (see the DVD titled ‘ A National Celebration’).
