    I admit to being biased. The author is a friend of many years.

    I had no idea of the backstory of his life and that of his parents - who I never met. He has done a great job of keeping the story moving and showing the raw elements of a young couple living through tumultuous times. Imagine being 22 or 23 years old and going through what they endured!
