Assemble Method

  1. Insert the drill bit into the mandrel and tighten the screws on the side of the mandrel with a wrench
  2. Insert the mandrel from the bottom of the saw blade to the top
  3. place the mounting plate on the saw blade and tighten the nut to lock the mounting plate to prevent damage

    This product was specifically purchased for the 6 inch hole saw.
    It worked perfectly for the four 6-inch holes I needed. I would suggest the use of this item for hobby woodworkers and novice DIY'ers, as it will do the job they are designed for, and it came with many attachments. If you have never used a hole-saw before, then I suggest you practice a cut or 2 on scrap but similar wood as cutting large holes free-hand will take experience before it feels right. I would also suggest that you do not drill holes on high speeds, no matter the make of the item, medium to large holes need to be cut at a moderate to slow speed, and raised after every 1/8 inch cut to clear out the sawdust, or the teeth will heat up and burn the wood. If possible, attach them to a drill press for more pressure consistency and accuracy.
    As a professional woodworker, I would not recommended this for a high end professional jobs as I would question their durability over excessive use.
