    Why did you pick this product vs others?:
    Just connect it and it works.

    The only improvement I would suggest is offering more charged voltage options. Given that most (?) users charge to only 80% in order to extend battery life, one would hope for a 55.4 volt option to accomodate 14s/52v battery users and similar options for 36 and 48v users.

    Wanted an extra charger for my GoTrax scooter, picked this up. Costs about the same as the official charger, but it works just as well and even shows the current voltage which makes it much easier to estimate how long you'll need to charge your scoot. Fan is pretty loud, but this isn't really an issue for me since I already have fans running. Still worth noting though, definitely not quiet!

    My e-cargo bike has two batteries for extended range, but only came with one charger. Since I didn't want to be swapping and charging batteries for an extended period of time when it's time to charge, I was looking for a compatible charger and found this. It matches the 54.6v and 2a rating of the charger that came with my Lectric Xpedition bike's charger, and the plug was also the right size.

    The best feature is the LCD display that shows the actual battery voltage, so I can at-a-glance know where the battery is in the charging process (when mounted on the bike, it's much harder for me to see the little LEDs on the battery). So far, the fan is quiet and barely noticeable above the background noise when I'm charging outside and I hope that staying cooler with the fan will allow the power supply to have a long lifetime.

    One other thing I thought interesting is that while my OEM charger shows as using 110w while charging (right at about 2A on 54.6v), this charger was showing as using about 125-130w on a second energy monitoring plug. I haven't done enough charge cycles to get a sense of whether it's charging faster, or there's additional draw/inefficiency, but that's one thing I am going to keep an eye on (I haven't done any scientific method testing such as switching energy monitoring plugs between this and the OEM charger, timing battery charge times and total power input from empty-to-full, etc.)

    Overall, if my OEM charger without a fan dies, I will probably purchase another one of these (though perhaps the 4A version for even faster charging), mostly because I like the LED voltage display!
