Big heavy duty kit.

Big heavy duty kit.
First off, this kit is big and heavy. The blue case is a 5 piece ball joint kit and it looks tiny. First thing I did was test all the threads to make sure there was no galling. Then I applied grease to everything cause it can't hurt. The pic with the Coke can shows the smallest and the biggest bushing pushers. Case has plastic clasps but they seem decent. Everything fits nicely in place. Pushed 2 bushings out and replaced them they went super smooth. I have a few bushings to do on my truck so I figure this kit will soon pay for itself. If you're pushing in a bushing and it gets really hard don't overtighten it or you'll strip the threads. Better to start over. Will update if anything goes south when I do the truck bushings. Cheers.

    First impression steel collars and good thickness. It's more than I expected. Kit is heavy. Lots of size options. As mentioned in other reviews use grease on threads and thrush bearing washers. I will update my review if it's junk. But so far for the price looks like a great kit for the money. It takes allot of time to make these pieces on a lathe or find at the hardware store. Probably money well spent. Probably useful for many jobs.

    I used it to remove the rear bushing from a 2007 BMW 328ix E90. It removed the old bushing with ease and then installed the new bushing perfectly. The only challenge was finding a proper wrench for the size of the nut. I ended up using a socket and a pair of channel locks because my largest wrench 22mm was too small and my 1 1/8 wrench was too big. I think I ended up finding a 1 1/16 socket that fit. It would be very useful it the documentation provided the size of the nuts, because they are not standard sizes that come with most tool sets. It definitely seems heavy duty and will last a long time.

    Within 10 minutes of receiving the tool, I went to work pushing out diff bushings. There is a slight bend in the spindle, which I did not notice (it is impossible to tell without something straight beside it, it's long and the angle is very slight). This is brand new, out of the box. The bushing was pushed out 90% of the way and hit the bend in the spindle, causing the force to act in a slight angle against the bushing housing. It cracked my bushing housing. I'm furious. 1st picture: cracked bushing housing. 2nd picture: bend in the spindle. 3rd picture - showing that the correct size socket was used, and user error was not the cause.
