Took the wheel hub with 6-7 blows, I was very happy and I thought that I was done with this badboy.

However, since I'm a DIYer, every project is a learning experience. So you'll ask me what did I learn on this one? Well CV axle are tough when pushed but super fragile when pulled... so while reassembling the knuckle I managed to disconnect the inner CV axle (picture)... 🤦🏽‍♂️

On top of that, since my car was on jacks and not on a lift, I didn't have enough room to use long prybars to disconnect the CV axle in its whole.

So I cut the clamp and removed the outer cv to the bearing assembly part(picture), leaving just the steel cup inside of the transmission.

It's a that moment that the badboy came in like a champ. I used the vise-grip adapter and clamped it real hard on the casing since it's filled with grease. Came out 3 slides later. Reassembled it, put it back in the transmission and fitted like a charm in the knuckle.

Super glad that I bought this, a real bang for your buck!🙏🏽🙏🏽

If you want something that you can beat on ,more often then just a few personal jobs .Buy a heavy duty one for more money. your not paying for a high end one ,don't expect high end quality. If you are using it a lot, or in an actual garage ,buy expensive high quality ones.
