- Reviewed in Canada on January 11, 2023Verified PurchaseIf you are new to photography then your perspective of auto focus may be skewed. Compared to expensive lenses and video cameras, the zoom is slow, and when hunting for your subject to get into focus, the motor is loud. Definitely loud enough to pick up the gears moving in a video.
However if you are going to take a portrait and 50mm is too tight, this is a great lens at F2. There is space between you and your subject and I find that portraits at 35mm feel more relaxed. I am happy with this lens

- Reviewed in Canada on September 17, 2023Verified PurchaseGreat bokeh, this is my first prime and the images look great. However, this doesn't work with my Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 6K. With the BMPCC 6K the aperture keeps jamming and doesn't reflect the value displayed in camera. It makes it absolutely useless with that camera. On my Canon Rebel SL3 I use it for pictures and it's my favorite lens. It gives me my most beautiful images.
- Reviewed in Canada on December 19, 2020Verified Purchasethe lens is fragile, i was initially very satisfied with the look, the soft focus backgrounds and bokeh were just what i wanted .. the lens has since come apart so if you buy this take extra care to be gentle with it.
the retailer did honor the product and instantly accepted the return ..

5.0 out of 5 stars 35mm per Canon EF/EFs - un entry level dalle prestazioni inaspettate

F2.0. Skarpt och ljuskänsligt. Endast autofokus motorn som låter en del.
