I have been on a quest for many years to find the perfect pool float, and I think I have finally found it with this lounger. I have tried them all: the giant unicorns, the flimsy noodles, the large recliners that make you sweat. This one gets everything right.

The first thing I noticed is the shape. It is not just a flat rectangle; it has a gentle curve to it that cradles you perfectly, and the built in headrest is also unique. It is the ideal position for soaking up the sun without getting a cramp in the neck.

The real genius, though, is the soft mesh center. It lets just enough water in to keep you cool without you being fully submerged. It is like floating on a hammock in the water. I spent hours on this thing during the last heatwave, and it was pure bliss. The high density material feels sturdy!

Now, for the one caveat my husband (who is a bigger guy) noted: if you are pushing the upper weight limit, you are not going to be floating high and dry on top of the water. You will be about halfway submerged, with the water coming up to your sides. Honestly, he said he preferred it that way! He stayed much cooler than on our other floats that keep you completely out of the water. For me, it was the perfect level of submersion.
