What is Japanese superfood Hikiwari Natto (Chopped Fermented Soybeans)?

Hikiwari natto contains about 1.5 times more vitamin K than grain natto.

It is made by grinding soybeans into 6~8 pieces and then fermenting them.

By fermenting natto after it is finely chopped, the amount of Vitamin K produced by the fermentation process is also incred.

    I sprinkled this in my lentil soup and it really changed the flavour profile. It was a bit like cheese and mushrooms? Honestly, I really did not like the taste... and I hardly put any in my soup! A little goes a long way here. I think in the future, I will use less as I would like the benefits of probiotic but not so much the taste. It is palatable, I just dont like it. I also dont like the taste or texture of natto, so that is something to consider from my review.
