    Using this "throttle cable" to run the twist clutch on my racing mower.
    First lasted three years before the cable wore on sheath and broke (my own design flaw, poor exit angle)

    Honestly, for the price, buy three: if you break one on race day you'll be happy for a spare, and if someone else breaks theirs you can be a hero in the pits!

    I bought this cable to go onto a 125cc shifter style kart. I ordered 3mm brass tubing to solder on the plain end for a Mikuni style round slide carb. I tried 4 types of solder with varying heat from barely flowing to cherry red. Even with silver solder, this cable will not take solder under any circumstances. If you are using a clamp style termination, this cable is on par with every other cheap throttle cable out there.
