Product description

Please note: This product does NOT send alerts to your phone. The Bluetooth connected XENA App allows you to control your alarm settings only. Choose your preferred alarm volume, shock & motion sensor sensitivity, monitor battery power and more! The new and improved Bluetooth module uses state-of-the-art solid state sensors, making the alarm more accurate and reliable in real-world security situations. Make sure you have your lock on your bike when connecting to change your alarm settings via the Bluetooth App. If you do not connect the alarm to your phone within 15 minutes of inserting the battery (or on first use, by removing the plastic pull tab) your XENA lock will revert to standard non-Bluetooth mode. To reset your lock and connect, you will need to remove and reinstall the battery. (Note: If you prefer, you can use the alarm without the app, simply pull the battery tab and use as a standard XENA alarmed disc-lock.)

    This product is build to last, app control is a lil finicky but it does work, the alarm does go off if anyone even touched the bike, ( if you set everything to sensitive)

    So its on a big bike and I could use the 10 with the larger pin. But with careful placement its not completely visible. And the 6 does exactly what its supposed to. I forgot it was on and I started to attach a phone mount. I moved the handlebar a milimeter and heard the high pitched beep and 5 secobds later the alarm was going off.

    That beep though. That's the part I think would spook anyone thinking of messing with the bike.

    The app controls the settings and you have to pretty close to it to change the settings. Still IT HAS SETTINGS, like sensitivity alarm volume on and off and timings. Which is cool.

    The alarm while not police cruiser loud is an annoying siren that calls attention to your bike. If whoever is messing withbit doesn't see the XENA right away then even better.

    I do not know about battery life but thats information available in the app.

    Lo uso da un paio di settimane ... comodo soprattutto la gestione dell'allarme tramite l'app sul telefonino ... poco ingombrante, di ottima fattura, l'allarme acustico (il cui volume si può regolare sempre tramite l'app, che ti informa anche sullo stato della batteria) mi sembra più che soddisfacente ed è sensibile al movimento della moto ... per cui di fatto impossibile partire dimenticandoselo inserito. Per sono sono soddisfatto ... speriamo si riveli un buon deterrente e robusto come appare.

    So this lock has already paid for itself !!!
    Chose this lock based on reviews and seemed good value for money and the feature that tipped the decision was the Bluetooth which enables you to switch off the alarm before you remove the lock, as well as customise the alarm settings for sensitivity and alarm times etc.
    Lock is extremely well made, and gave me confidence when opening the package for the first time.
    Fitting the battery is straightforward but the instruction booklet is tiny and difficult to read, however battery fitted and app downloaded as instructed.
    Lock paired straight away with no fuss.
    And I was able to check the Battery status and default settings before putting it onto the bike for the first time.
    This is my only gripe : - the battery included was almost flat!! And I had to buy a replacement straight away CR2!! Not a great start, I did contact the company who got straight back to me offering to send me another, but in all honesty I couldn’t be bothered to wait and for a couple of quid suck it up.
    Lock fitted great, once fitted for the first time, you have to have the lock fitted to the bike to access the Bluetooth settings or arm it (just for noting) as I read others have initially struggled until it becomes obvious.
    Now for the best bit.😊😊
    Lock has been used for 10 days, and has been so easy to use. Last night I put my bike to bed, placed the lock on and left.
    Over night some thieving scumbag tried to steal the bike, the lock did its job, (unlike the steering lock) and stopped the thief in his tracks, it obviously scared the pants off him as he dropped the bike then and there and made good his escape.
    I have no doubt that the lock prevented my bike from being stolen, yes it’s damaged but I’m writing a review rather than filling in an insurance claim.
    The lock survived intact and undamaged, small amount of damage to brake calliper bracket but other than that not even a scratch on the lock.
    I would 100% recommend this product and so thankful I bought one.
